Lots of fun, games and time in the outdoors!
The pack has had a full month to start off the Scouting year. First, the pack went family camping out a Falls Lake and had an awesome time of a fishing playing games, sitting around the campfire and of course s’mores.
Then the Webelos went grocery shopping to prepare for their Webelos camping weekend at Jordan Lake. While it rained they boys prepared their own meals, learned about different knots, fished and of course learned how to build a campfire.
At our Pack meeting in October, we had science night and learned many lessons in the physical sciences.
The the Webelos learned about many different faiths and commemorated Diwali the Hindu festival of lights.
It is never too late to join, feel free to come join in all the fun!

As we gear up for another year with Pack 486 we want to reaffirm our commitment to Scout values of being trustworthy, honest, faithful, and being kind to everybody. You may have heard about President Trump’s speech at the Boy Scout Jamboree and the controversy it has caused. We wish to share the statement by the Boy Scouts of America reaffirming Scout values, and we want each of you to know that we as Pack 486 also reaffirm these values. As leaders and parents we must model the behavior that we want our Scouts to follow, and we strive every day to live by the Scout Law. Welcome back everyone.
