Summertime ahead!

Bear Den 3 wraps up with their last den meet­ing for the year. We awarded the Bear badge to the boys who could attend the Awards Ban­quet at Kerr Lake, played some Ulti­mate, and cel­e­brated with fuzzy punch. The Bear Scouts, now Webe­los,  worked really hard over the past year to achieve this chal­leng­ing goal. Good job scouts!

Many thanks from Woodcroft

Bear Den 3

I also wanted to thank all of the scouts and their fam­i­lies who came to clean up the 3rd fork creek a few weeks ago.  I attended the Wood­croft com­mu­nity annual meet­ing last night, and they gave the scouts a round of applause because of your recent efforts.  Sev­eral peo­ple came up to me after the meet­ing and expressed their per­sonal thanks to the scouts for clean­ing the creek and the trail around it. One gen­tle­man says that he walks down there all of the time and said it was much nicer since we cleaned.

It made me real proud of all you guys!
