A new camping spot for Pack 486, Parker’s Creek at Jordan Lake, Mother Nature was very kind to us providing warm days and cool, campfire nights. After arriving Friday night scout families set their tents, ate dinner and settled down for campfire s’more time. Saturday began with early risers. Dutch oven cooking and strong morning coffee. The day was filled with fishing, disc golf, a 1.5 m hike to local swimming, playground fun and Baseball catch. The evening was spent eating Dutch oven spare ribs and Jambalaya, deserts, campfire s’mores, story-telling, and commando. Morning risers woke the camp with giggles and laughter. After breakfast, campers packed up and headed off to the modern world. Parker’s Creek supplied lots of memories for years to come. See the photos taken.
