Cub Scout Pack 486 invites you to join us as we kick off the 2021-2022 year! The landscape may be different because of COVID-19, but we are determined to make the most of the year for all of our Cub Scouts as they work together to complete their adventures. Our goal for the year is to provide an enriching, educational experience while focusing on the health and safety of our members and families.
We are located in Durham, North Carolina, and our charter organization is Christus Victor Lutheran Church. We currently meet on Tuesdays– we host one virtual pack meeting per month on the second Tuesday, with den meetings on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. We are currently meeting in person while observing social distancing and mask guidelines when possible for the safety of everyone in our community.
Our Pack welcomes both boys and girls from kindergarten to fifth grade. Activities planned for the year will feature lots of outdoor activities, including hiking and biking. We will also be participating in our annual popcorn sale and will host our Pinewood Derby.

We are going to “Do Our Best” to make this year a great success! Part of the Scouting experience is learning how to overcome difficult circumstances. Our goal is to keep our kids engaged and help them persevere despite the challenges we are all currently facing. We hope you will join us for an extraordinary year!
